Abstract

Male participation in Indonesian family planning remains critically low, perpetuating a unilateral reproductive burden on women. In rural communities such as Wonocatur Village, Kediri, male contraceptive uptake is below 1%, yet empirical evidence capturing the multifaceted psychosocial drivers of this resistance remains scarce. This study aimed to determine the critical factors influencing contraceptive reluctance among married men of reproductive-aged couples. Employing an observational cross-sectional design with multiple binary logistic regression (), this research utilized a confidential hybrid survey model (combining private digital and paper-based instruments).
